UNTRA provides physical property testing and measurement services based on specific testing parameters selected by the item provider.
Fees are determined by testing scope, laboratory time, and equipment usage, and are not related to the item’s market value or commercial outcome.

Sample Intake & Handling

All submitted items require an initial intake and handling process.

Sample Intake & Handling Fee
$75 per item

This fee covers:

  • Sample registration and identification

  • Handling and preparation

  • Internal record keeping

  • Secure storage during testing

Per Test / Per Parameter Pricing

Testing services are charged per selected parameter.
Clients may select individual tests or combine multiple parameters based on their needs.

Basic Physical Measurements

  • Weight & dimensional measurement

  • Density or mass-related measurement

$25 – $60 per parameter

Optical & Structural Properties

  • Optical response testing

  • Structural observation (non-destructive)

  • Surface or internal feature examination (instrument-assisted)

$80 – $180 per parameter

Material Composition Screening

  • Composition or material screening (non-destructive methods)

  • Instrument-based analysis of detectable material characteristics

$150 – $450 per parameter

Advanced or Specialized Testing

  • High-precision measurements

  • Extended laboratory time

  • Specialized or uncommon test setups

Quoted individually based on scope

Reporting & Documentation

Each test includes a Standard Test Report documenting:

  • Selected test parameters

  • Measurement results

  • Test conditions and limitations

Optional documentation:

  • Extended Data Appendix (raw or supplementary data): additional fee may apply

Volume Pricing & Ongoing Testing

UNTRA offers volume-based pricing for:

  • Multiple sample submissions

  • Ongoing testing programs

  • Research, manufacturing, or compliance-related projects

Volume pricing is determined based on:

  • Number of items

  • Selected testing parameters

  • Submission frequency
